I'm part of a team doing a 100km bike ride through the Yorkshire Dales, organised by the Black Sheep Brewery :beer:and the Rugby Woodenspoon Society which raises money for children.

I'm currently in heavy training  for the ride on the 18th May.

Details of the ride and the team Just Giving page are contained in the following links.

Please feel free to donate (to the charity - not the bar bill) :beerjug:

I did it :D

Set off in torrential rain from Masham. It eventually stopped half war round when we got to Reeth. Then we went wrong :blast

Instead of 'nipping over' to Askrigg I ended up going down Swaledale and over Buttertubs pass

So a 65 mile ride turned into a 78 mile endure :eek

I did get a free pint of Black Sheep for my efforts

And relax :Motomartin

I have been told that Buttetubs pass will feature as one of two King of the Mountains climbs in Stage One of the 2014 Tour de France :D

What a detour :blast
