My mate had his GS up at Dalkeith a couple of weeks ago for some warrenty work. Explained mine was due a 6000 Service. Before I could call they phoned me, arranged a pick up at my house, took bike away serviced it and arranged to return it to me all free of charge. Called me a day later to inform me that whover had fitted the tyres had fitted the rear the wrong way round!!!!Over and above that they rectified 2 faults that I never even new the bike had.

I know the old sayin is "you pays yer money" but thats what I call service. Other outfits should take lesson from these guys. Thanks to all up in Dalkeith.

Yes, I cannot rate them highly enough. Especially that Mr Steve Smith fellow, he has managed to teach me swear words that even I haven't heard before.

The same reasons why I travelled a 200 mile round trip to buy my gsa from them and am willing to drive up there to get it serviced rather than travel 30 miles to my local dealer.

Couldn't get to the launch party on saturday but had a run up today to have a look at the new GS, got to admit that it does look nicer in the flesh than it does in the magazines.

Will be having a test ride in the summer but probably waiting a year or so to see what the Adventure model ends up like.

Same reason I come down from Shetland to get my GS serviced, still have to ask how to work the coffee machine.
We always stay overnight at the County Hotel just along the road.

Coffee machine is easy, top left button, select size of cup ,front opens , insert drinks sachet , remember to put cup under nozzle, shut front and there you go

You're not the only one. I used to do that too

Its great, get a loan bike and slope off down towards Moffat, the Forest of Ae etc.
