Ignition on?

Kill switch on

In neutral ?

Just to be clear you push a paperclip up into the rearmost terminal on the connector from below and you leave the connector on the TPS

You are measuring the through voltage at rest

I suspect you have not got a good connection causing your error

"OR" your TPS is buggered

But double check your connections !! and you are using the 20V DC scale on the multimeter

i do have a an other tps that was on the bike when i bought it ,i could try swapping it over

Pin 4, on the left, is negative. Pin 1 on the right of the tps is positive. Just strip the ends of two short pieces of wire, disconnect the tps and insert the ends of the wires into the terminals and reconnect the tps.
I found this the easiest way to connect the meter to carry out this procedure.

Thanks for the info , i have now found its a fuel problem , as after trying to start it with no joy , i found the plugs bone dry ? and would have expected them to be wet with fuel with all the spinning of the engine , i have replaced the the fuel pressure valve and am yet to see if that works . i have noticed that when i remove the injectors the fuel just pores out of the pipe ? is this normal ?.
I am going to try and see if the presser is up when i crank it over as i would expect that or am i wrong
