A friend has just binned his 1150SE. He got a nice deal from the insurance and wants to sell the damaged bike.
Details as follows:

R1150GS Special Edition
2005 72K (miles)

Damage is to the front end. Forks are badly twisted, superficial damage to the binnacle, dent to the tank, beak is split but could probably be mended. O/S crash bars damage, O/S rocker cover will need replacing.
Screen, one wing mirror and the front wishbone are all toast.

On the positives, one owner, bike was in daily use until the accident and is in very nice condition; serviced by Steptoe for the most part, MOT till July, new clutch (with intermediate shaft bearing at 27K by his Stepperness) refurbed rear shock (at 60K), rear tyre around 1/4 worn (front is about 3/4 worn)

Bike's in Hertfordshire, if you want a gander.

PM me if you're interested - £1800.
Some pics:

I've known this bike since he bought it new and I can vouch for him and the bike (or at least what's left of it)

I presume it will be a category C or D on the insurance database ?

why do these things come along when I'm not ready, I'm still mind shed of dreams build. spent all the money on that....

then was thinking of building a go-cart with a 1150 engine..... which could be funny.....

I'm 95% certain i've a complete front end for this bike including the front wishbone. It's a bit scruffy but no damage. :D

Cheaper than the usual breakers if it helps anyone.

You have heard that the bottom has dropped out of the SE market and they are worthless nowadays ;-)

Arf! But I'm rebuilding this one to ride it not sell it. Ever since I first rode Si Pavey's ADV at the BMW off road school back in 2000 I've wanted one but couldn't really justify the cost. That it's one of 300 is a bonus really.
