Damaged Tyre Pressure Sensors - anyone got any experience?

Think I would be tempted to try and fabricate a new rubber part from some pipe with the dimensions you mentioned. Scour the net & see if you can get some pipe with inner & outer dims you describe. It might not work, but rubber pipe is inexpensive so you will not have lost an arm & a leg in trying.

Your 1100 is very unsafe without this type of option, you better leave it at home and take the bus

Just bought a new gs without any gadgets other than heated grips. Had an 05 gs from new with servos n abs, nowt but bother and ruined a great bike in my opinion. Each to to their own n all that I love the bike but not keen on all the 'gadgets' Just another opinion.

I'm not interested whether certain people like gadgets or not, if people don't like them that much then go and start your own thread to discuss it.

What makes it worse is that this 'off topic' discussion is being encouraged by a moderator whose time, I would have thought, would be better spent splitting the thread and removing the off topic discussion to a thread of it's own.

My TP sensors have sometimes given a wild reading but ok after enfine stop and restart. I am amazed how accurate they are when checked against a proper pressure guage. Can't say that the 1200 Adventure handles in an odd way or could catch out an unwary rider but I suppose you get a bit more ambitios than one would have done on an 1150 and surprised at how competent the 1200 is. 1150 is still a nicer "feel" I reckon
