A bit chilly today and windy but, usually doesn’t put me off going for a ride. So a ride it was.
Parking up at a cafe, I opened the alu OEM top box to put gloves in and take my Thermos mug when wind caught the lid and broke both the hinges
.
Noticed on Motorworks they are £38 each
.
Time for a change to stainless hinges as the OEM have alway been the weak spot especially without the safety cable ( which was half installed on one side). My fault
.
Are there hinges available that fit the original holes out there?
First will try the diy shops.
