If anyone was wondering why the Ballygowan Road was closed for most of yesterday... I'm afraid James has to take responsibility...!

7am... cold but dry roads just heading down a right hander from Manse Rd junction... past a farmers field which constantly drains over the road... Black Ice... the rest is A&E and fracture clinic...:(

Verdict... one broken right hand collar bone... one broken Arai Corsair... and a broken Panzer... :blast

James was bearing up ok last night after I'd hosed him down and got him dressed... I know he's right handed but I'm sure he's exagerating when he says he cant use his left hand

The bike was picked up by a friend so we haven't surveyed the damage to the old girl yet... but I'm just glad he's still in one piece... :comfort

I heard on Radio Ulster yesterday morning that the Ballygowan Rd was closed after an accident, but never for the life of me thought that it might be one of us. :eek

To hell with the Arai, at least it did it's job, and sure the Panzer will probably mend. But it is good to read that James isn't too badly injured.

Give him our best regards for a speedy recovery Sue. Best wishes to both of you. :beerjug:

Bummer.....was out and about yesterday myself and it was a bit dogy looking in places. Tell him to give the nurses in fracture clinic plenty of abuse. :D....though he might live to regret it. :comfort

James is still a bit dazzed and confused, but he'd like to thank you all for your kind wishes...

Ah well... time for his hose down... nurses work is never done.. :comfort

Sorry to hear that Sue, give James my best wishes for a speedy recovery :comfort

Men aren't great patients :blast :D

:aidan
