So have added these

The little green light in the bottom left is the switch

Which ones are they, from where, how good are they at night and how much?

I am thinking of getting something similar.

Thanks.

WUNDERLICH MICRO FLOOTER

Bought em at Rainbow

Very good at night , no problem with oncoming traffic

about £120

2 lights fully wired harness with relay .in line fuse, waterproof illuminated on off switch and precision fit bracket plus all the nuts bolts , and instructions that any one can follow
they even put the shrink wrap in the kit
Fitting them on an RT without the bracket would be near on impossible
Space on bracket to fit some long range stuff from Fannum as well:D

Wary of tapping into the loom on my rt with the can-bus system? Any pointers on a safe way to do it without blowing it up?
Sounds like the flooters are straight forward enough with the loom and fittings supplied etc.
thanks.

The kit is idiot proof

(Needs to be for me)

The connection is made to the battery

So no canbus issues

Then to an in line fuse and then a separate relay

It is all ready put together when it arrives
You don't need to solder, crimp or use your brains
No wires to cut or joints to make

seeeemples

They even put a zip ties in the pack

If you want more info
Go to the Wunderlich site and you will be able to download the fitting instructions

Buy it from Rainbow , then have a ride out to collect it

No postage

Splice 'em in?

That sounds easy enough- i'm quite happy to do the wires/relays etc. So do you just splice the bullet markers into the wires to the flooters? Cheers

Aha the bullet markers

I just spliced them into the back light
However.... my bike is an 1150 RT

They are L E D and only take a tiny current
so they may work on your canbus thingy

Somebody will probably pop up and say I am talking bollox:D

Yeah, not sure about tapping into the wires to the back lights, but figure it would be okay on the flooter wires as they are on a separate 'proper' circuit.
Cheers
