Dark screen fitted

Hi, just picked up a racing red one and I am waiting for the tinted screen too ! Looks good on the bike though .... Like the idea of painting the lower screen Matt black ! Seeing I have just sent the panels in on mine to be painted thunder grey ... ( had to wait for a grey one !)
I have a body shop in the company I work for so if you want me to get you some info on painting it for shout up.

The can looks good .... Was it expensive ? More importantly what's it sound like ?

Whats the best thing to spray the other screen with? I was thinking of Plastidip, or would just regular paint do the trick?

Just your basic regular rattle can paint from a car shop somewhere like halfrauds nothing fancy .

Clean the inside well (do not use thinners to clean it as it will melt) and mask the outer so its not covered in overspray than first coat very lightly let dry than repeat with build up coats until its fully coated but let it dry between coats or you'll get runs and post a pic when done, its really easy peasy to do.

I'm off to dealer in morn now to order tinted screen.

Try hydrochloric acid for that just melted in the sun look. It's going to be all the rage with the wasserboys this summer.

I'm going to see how they fare, as the paint is quite delicate. If it scratches or marks easily, I'll go down the vinyl wrap route.
