Yonko,

I remember you putting yourself forward to spray your winglets, they look pretty dull now, i remember you sprayed a side that shouldnt have been sprayed or something.

I still want to do mine but for referance i was in Bahnstormers the other week with a bunch of tossers on a rideout and they had a new GSA in the showroom with dark winglets and the dark screen, i got all excited and asked the parts man for some but he told me they were from Nippys and the buyer wanted them fitted. upon inspection they didnt fit properly and rubbed the screen :augie

My quest therefore continues

Where did you get the BMW sticker for you screen?

Also, how good are the nobbly tyres on the road? I can't afford to keep swapping the tyres over, but don't want to ride on the road with nobbly's if they're absolutely horrible

Great on the road and are as grippy as any other tyres on a GS in my opinion but pointless unless you intend to do at least a bit of gravel;)

With or Without a dark screen?

Here's what they look like in clear and dark tint......... I like em dark myself

Oh, and the Heidenau tyres are an inbetween road tyre and knobblie which are 'very' ok at speed and big lean angles.

I got the BMW sticker from my local graphics/sign maker. Cost about £2.50 per sticker. Maybe I’ll got a load made and flog them on here.:augie

As Sgt B has said:thumb. The Michelin Karoo 2’s are just as grippy on tarmac, as any other tyre. But they do feel different and they move about a bit, and tend to wander at 100mph + speeds.:eek

Trouble is though; they wear out quite quick (if used aggressively). I only got 3k miles out of the rear.:blast
