Anybody run a dash cam or the like on their bike?

What I'd like to do is mount a camera on the GS to record a 10 min loop to be used for evidence (God forbid) should I be involved in a biff, primarily sur le continent but would be useful here as well.

ADV Rider site has a few suggestions but I dont know what's available here. Would rather not go the helmet cam route as I have a couple in regular use.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received…. No, not those..

I have two a GoPro and a drift both work very well either helmet mount or fixed to the bike
I prefer the drift ghost s as it is water proof strait out of the box bat life is better than GoPro and you can wire it up to the bike without any probs
Get a good sd card 32/64 and you will be ok for 10/20 or 30 min loops

Halfords do one. It's called the Nextbase RIDE Motorcycle Bike cam. It's on their website. Takes up to a 32GB CARD.

Sj4000, £40, colour screen, loop recording, auto start up with ignition if wired to bike, HD quality, 3, 5 and 10 min sections or continuous record, battery does 3+ hours, uses go-pro accessories etc. I've been using mine for a year, no issues so far.

I've got the SJcam too, good quality lens and fitted it via a RAM mount, so easily stopped/started whilst on the move. Get it from a reputable seller (I used Amazon) and if goes wrong/never arrives ( direct from China) you can get your money back, I paid about £ 50.00 but price varies. There are a number of GoPro-clones but the SJcam seems the best.

Thanks boys…

Looks like the Drift Ghost will be the ticket. Let you know how I get on…
