I have never seen a post on the tinternet from someone saying "thank god for DataTag, i got my bike back!"
Which is why when i bought my GS and removed the seat, saw the green datatag sticker and ...... ignored it

Please reply, this stray wire is keeping me up at night.
Is it a tracker,
is it an old wire someone used to power a usb socket,
is it a wire for spot lights?

Datatag is a security marking system.

Datatool is a tracker.

They are nothing to do with each other, they are totally independent companies.

My 2019 GSA came with both fitted, so I contacted both companies individually and updated their details, paid the subscription fee and now have both a working bike tracker and the security marking is registered to me. Too easy.
