battery is fully charged and iv just fitted a new on in the remote any ideas

You never stated the alarm model or it's age. So I'm making an assumption here.

The internal battery on the alarm is probably dead. Most of the good alarms only last about 10 years. Which is the life of the internal battery which you cannot replace. Once it dies, that's it.

Your options are to replace the main module (£££££££) or rip it out completely, and go with no alarm.

You can try unplugging the fuse, resetting the alarm etc etc, but chances are nothing will work for you.

id rather rip it out and fit my own. because if it ever goes faulty it wont take me hours tracing wires trying to fix it. good job its happend at home and not out on the bike. most of the time when i used to arm it.. it used to beep 5 times after arming never relay found out why it did that think it was an error code

If it is the S4 - download the manual from internet,

Try the manual disarm (manual tells you the default code)

If you are keen to remove - do a search on internet for instructions (which can be done inside the unit - rather than chopping and bridging the conductors in the loom)

+1 worked for me. 30 minute job.

all removed tbh it was a joke i only had to rejoin one wire to the starter switch. there was about 5 other wires that had been spliced into the alarm so all sorted
