Dave here from Canada again, thanks for all the replies, but quit keeping these secret pubs & taverns, that are off the beaten path to yourselves. Like I said, coming there with my family, and another family as well, so I promise we won't embarass you. Another quick questions, what are your fuel prices like over there? I have been hearing some scary stories about people hoarding fuel - is this correct? Does it makes sense to rent a diesel car - or are diesel prices that much higher that it will counter the extra mileage? Come on my GS brothers - help me out.:ChrisKelly

Central Scotland fuel prices are around £1.10 a litre for unleaded. Diesel is about the same. The further up North you got the higher the price goes. Big fuel tank will save you having any problems getting low on fuel.

It's £1.10/l around here, down south.

Hoarding fuel??? Yea, that's right - there's armed police at the few fuel stations that actually have petrol and the army are escorting tankers around the country. The governments about to declare martial law and the Queen is considering going into exile in France.

Still, my local pub has Taylors Landlord in on tap, so I'll retire there on my push bike. :beerjug:

For decent pubs on your travels, you'd do worse than looking at the CAMRA website - http://www.camra.org.uk/ :jager

Have fun!

Where about in Ontario... A ?

I spend some wonderful times in Simcoe...I sh!t you not... :beerjug: I also noticed the condoms were a lot smaller than the "regular"...
