I was tempted by a heavily discounted Suzuki Vstrom 800 before I decided on the V85. Being sold by a local dealer 15 miles away was attractive. Glad I decided not to now, as David Jones of Newtown is no longer selling Suzuki and my nearest dealer is now the same as my Guzzi dealer, 55 miles away. D Jones still has Yamaha and Honda ATV & mowers franchises. The company appears solvent so maybe some consolidation going on as the owners, in their 70s, seem to have passed on their ownership of the Shrewsbury Honda bike dealer to younger members of the family.
