Dream on.

This is for trail or Enduro bikes. When I first did this in 2003 I managed 9 laps on the KTM in a team of two. The winner did 21 on his own :bow

Last year several Paris Dakar riders where there and they said it was the toughest one day event that they had done. Maybe it was something to do with the mud and lack of sand though. :mmmm

In 2003, Patsy Quick of Dakar fame didn't manage to get round on her Dakar bike. :(

I also remember one joker who turned up on a 650GS and said if they can use the site for the BMW off-road skills course then it should get round. Don't think he managed even a couple of miles, let alone one lap.

A few weeks ago I went round the course on a HP2, but sadly it needed two of us to get it out of some of the, lets say tricky bits. :D I was absolutely knackered after just the one lap.

So yes, turn up on the 1150GS we'll all need a good laugh.

I think Andres was referring to the Rydale rally as this thread drifted a bit and then got back on track to the D2D. :nenau
