Did any of you Guys go and watch it or do it.
I saw a BMW (not sure which one) on the event plus a KTM 950 take my hat off to them both..

i been so un fit done 5 laps on the 525 ..great course fun and testing in places but got easyer than in the afternoon than the morning with track drying out ..

intertament on the eveing could be better !! for the 90 quid we payed..!! :rob

but wel worth doing :thumb

You weren't the only one that was there and unfit!

I hadn't ridden for over 12 months which might explain why "hannah's hyphose heroes" only managed about 6 laps.

The first lap i did on a borrowed 450 husky, which nearly finished me. I lost count of the amount of off's on the first lap after they got into double figures.

The rest of the day was spent on a 200 ktm, which was a doddle to ride by comparison!

I did like the course, it was very challenging but with very few places to take a breather...

how long after the event does it take to get the use of your body back? mines as stiff as a board at present. Can't even walk to the fridge for a beer...

Hi Nathan,
Nice to see you on here, and glad you survived the D2D. Any word on the rest of the "Rides" crew?

D2D

Yes, a hard days ride. We did 7 laps each in clubman two man to finish 6th. Well pleased with that as it's my first solo ride for 12 months. My mate did 10 laps in the marathon class and hes not as tired as me!!!. Fair play to the guy on the 950 ktm and also the touratech BMW. Big bikes to wrestle around there. All i've dreamed about for the last two nights is rocks and stones!!

Well done to all of you.... :clap :clap :clap

They were putting the course together while we were on the Ladies BMV off road training course and we used some of it to do our training... 'challanging' springs to mind  .. and I couldn't imagine doing the whole lot on a GS....well apart from Nick Plumb or Si Pavey  :D

There was one small section that was a vertical bowl.. straight down about 20ft and 10ft back up the other side :thumb ... the instructor Tony seemed to think I could do it on the 12 :eek ...I absolutely loved it :bounce1 ... just kept going back for more... :D ... so did it on the 12GSA
too.... :bounce1 :bounce1 :bounce1 ...not before I stalled it at the top first time round... flippin heavy to pick up... :mmmm

Hats off to you guys though... 6 laps of that full course would finish anyone off..... :clap :clap :clap
