Daytona Boots Size and Product Question?

I need boots that will give me a bit of extra height for the Adventure. The Daytona M Star GTX seems to fit the bill. The cheapest I can find so far is on fc-moto.de but they only have product codes. Does anyone know if 34311-1714538-1 is the same boot?

I take a size 8, it the 43 the correct size then? My last pair of boots were SIDI and they seem to be sized differently.

I am a size 8.5 and Daytona 43 fits me.

I have just brought the transopen GTX boots which in my opinion look the best of the Daytonas for the GS. The M GTX look a little too lardy touringish in my view.

I have a few pairs of Daytonas and the quality is outstanding so I don't think you will go wrong whichever style you pick.

43 would normally be a UK 9. A UK size 8 would normally be a 42. I say "normally" because, from my experience of trying on Daytona Trans Open GTX, they do seem to be sized on the large side. You might do well to try a 41. Also, if your feet fit well in Sidis, like mine do, then you might find that Daytonas are quite wide.

Got Daytona GTX Open, size 42/ 8. This is a roomy boot, could have done with a bit smaller. Have since got the optional inner sole which helps.

I bought mine from a German site which was considerably cheaper than any UK offering

They come at least 1/2 size bigger than you would expect. Ended up with 3 insoles in mine and still too big

Thanks for the advice, I should go for the 41 maybe because sometimes 7 1/2 fits me. Anyone able to match up M Star GTX with a product code? Thanks

Hi gerry hows the new bike hope to see you out and about. YOU could ask joe dolan where he gets his boots they have three inch heels on them.

Thanks for the website address, I am trying to match up their product codes with the Gore-Tex M Star and thinkd it might be 1714538-1.

And Richie I think it's Big Tom boots I need....!!
