This is a technical section and Daytona boots don't really come under that title:blast I'll get the post moved into the relevant section.

Having said that, I'm on my second pair of Daytona Trans Open and they are the best boots money can buy in my opinion. All day comfy, great protection and above all.....dry:thumb

me two:D

johnMILLE,

It's a shame your having a problem with your boots i've had some evo sports for 8 years now and had them replaced no questions asked after a year and a half because the heel broke in the shell and have had no problems since.

When I was getting mine I looked into getting evo securitys and was told not to touch them unless I was using them for racing as the soles would not be up to walking around in.

I've had a pair of Daytona's for 10 years now. They need new soles but apart from that have been excellent

Punch DAYTONA TRANS OPEN GTX into Ebay and they're coming up at £239 plus a tenner to post - from Germany.

That's a great price. Excellent value.

Why not post back direcy to Daytona as I did . They repaired them and posted back to me foc . It only cost the postage out .

Indeed. Had my first pair revived at the factory.

Ditto, My evo sports were about 3 years old when I noticed the inners had cracked, seems the original style inner was more show than go, however both replaced FOC no questions asked, new inners lasting fine.

As others have said I can't believe a few have had such problems, they are the only boot for me. I have the Evo's for summer, Roadstars for the rest of the year (by far the best boot money can buy), New pair of Roadstars being worn in now as I got them cheaper than sending the old ones away for new soles and zips. My other half has the ladystars for riding in, and a small ankle style for pillion days. My lad also has an old pair we got SH from a mate for his 125, and we have a spare pair that the lad used when he was younger, and our daughter will probably have next if she outgrows her mums old Sidi's.

Been trying to get a mate to stump up for a pair, but in the 8/9 years I've had my daytonas he's on his 3rd pair of crappy sidi's which need replacing again now. He has been looking at the HG ones, maybe I'll try talk him into a proper pair just in case.
