Finally bitten the bullet and bought a pair!

However, I am finding it really difficult to pull up the long zip on the outside. It gets stuck just where it changes direction slightly. I'm doing this with the zip on the other side undone.

Is this normal? Do they just take time to break in? Or do I need to go for the a bigger size (girth rather than length)?

Any advice would be wlecome.

I had the same on a different model in the range with a single zip on the outer side - all you can do is try to make the path as straight as possible and pull the 2 parts of the zip towards one another with your free hand. I solved the problem by getting a pair of Daytona Rainbow boots which have a short zip on the inner side.

They will break in. I know they say to do the long zip first, but try doing the short zip up first, until they are worn in a bit.

yep this is a std issue with the roadstars. when worn a few times they slacken off and zip up nicely. Great boots, enjoy

Im on my second pair , the first pair did over 100.000 miles, never leaked once. Money well spent in my opinion

I'm also on my second pair, found these a little difficult to zip up initially but it helped if I made sure that my foot was well planted in the boot before using the long zip. I think that this reduces any stress on the zip from the top of your foot pressing against it.
