Teestar

I'm told they're coming into the country next week to Fowlers of Bristol as they're the UK distributor. They'll be sent out from them to whoever you've ordered from.

BOS got caught out on the popularity of the BM stuff and have had to ramp production up to meet demand. Still won't be common like the Remus though. ;)

Some of us happen to work around the corner from Fowlers so won't have to wait so long :D

Exhausts

People have complained a bit about the droning of Remus so I looked for alternatives. The nicest made I think is the Staintune so I ordered one. It has a removeable end baffle and no rivets. It uses stainless steel batts in the exhaust so it never needs repacking. Everyone I talked to about the Staintune said it has a really nice sound. Here is a link http://piratesk12site.net/StaintuneGS.htm

Will be decatting (verb) at the weekend. Got hold of the Remus headers but undecided on the end can. Just interested to see what the difference is and if there is any change in the torque curve etc... I'll weigh the 2 headers sets up and if I can get over to the dyno do a before and after.

Stu

I've got a full Remus and it sounds pretty good, as in great but not annoying, with the baffle IN.

It looks good too.

No regrets.

Let us know how you get on stu - would be interesting to see an 'independant' dyno result...

Has anyone just replaced the cat and kept the OE silencer?

I fancy losing the weight of the cat, and I ride though water a lot so I'm probably knackering the cat anyway. But I don't really want to make the bike any louder, and I don't care either way about the power output :)
