I've fitted de-catted header pipes, a Remus Hexacone muffler plus a Power Commander V, with the correct map, to my 2010 GSA . I honestly can't feel any difference - am I missing something? Others say it really opens up the mid-range and responsiveness, define for me 'responsiveness' and 'mid-range'. Please explain to me what or where the difference should be.
I'm not new to BMW's or bikes in general, I've currently got the GSA (my 7th BMW) a GTR1400 and a Harley Softail Custom :nenau

I Dont think it makes as much difference as on the pre twin cam engines. the powervalve makes it sound better and it seems to pull better straight out of the box.I'm keeping mine standard where as all my previous GS/GSA's have had remus and akro's fitted .Keep us informed :thumb2

I too feel that my 60 plate GSA is pretty good out of the box and it feels as quick in standard trim to my 08GS and 09GSA that had remus headers and end can.

I have also removed "the flap wires" so its open all the time but may just get a can for a deeper note.
