My Tungsten T5 died the death the day before we set off for the Easter GS rally in Holland. Completely unresponsive after 24 hours on charge (charger OK, tested with other PDA)> All the 'rescues' on Palmweb start with life on the screen (frozen/locked >> sot boots >hard boots> factory level reset...)
After deep discharge and recharge screen flickers for a moment then goes into self reset before dying again, neding further discharge > recharge cycle for same disappointing flash of optimism.
Does anyone have experience of this? Do you know an off-the-wall solution, like dipping in liquid nitrogen?
Failing that does abyone know where I can find another one? Curries.digital (ex-Dixons) have em listed as discontinued, none available. Would love to replace like-with-like before resorting to Tx upgrade at twice the price.
TIA
