Those that are unfortunate enough to know me know that i am mostly DEAF, completely in my left hole and pretty shagged in my right. Bitching Bettys' dulcet tones therefore would not really turn me on. But, Iv'e a transmitter and neck loop with a receiver, so I had made up a cable with appropriate jacks to connect Betty and the transmitter (in either tank bag or top box) sends sounds A La Blue Tooth to the receiver and loop, thus with hearing aid on 'T' position I can hear directions almost wire less. Plus Aid still acts as an effective ear plug. Not of much interest to you Normal people , may help other Mutton Geoff types.

Ps. I had the tackle anyway for meetings etc. so just needed the cable made up.

Sounds like a neat modification. What model of GPSR are you using, the SP III or SP 2610?

Hi Pan, SP111, the speaker out of the SP plugs into the Mic socket of the Transmitter. The system is fairly ancient techie wise, fm Genie made by Connevans who specialise in Deaf Aids

Thanks again for posting the additional information. I'm going to have a closer look at this for my own use. My little sister is an audiologist in Canada (well, a radiologist now, but was an audiologist before), I'll contact her and see if there is an older model available that is less expensive.
