Surely it shouldn't be too hard to buy a bike, should it?
Last summer, I took a fancy to an R1200S at JC in Dundee. Had a look at the bike and decided about 20 mins later that I'd take it. I phoned the dealer, said I wanted it and gave them my details and explained that I'd be in again the following week.
On the next visit the original salesman wasn't there but I was completely ignored in the showroom by everyone else. I wandered up to the storage shed and looked at the bike again and took some photos of it. Still nobody appeared so I went home and assumed that the salesman would be in touch....which never happened.
I've since bought elsewhere but I still fancy the 1200S, so last Sunday night whilst browsing the internet I had a look at the JC website and saw some low mileage 1200S's advertised. I used the enquiry form and asked for some pic and more info. Of course I've had no acknowledgement of my enquiry at all.
Now, I could have chased them on either occasion but I shouldn't have to, or am I just being stubborn? Maybe, but they have to put a bit of effort in if they want my money. It's not like the R1200S is a great selling model.
Nevermind, that's it off my chest now!
