I've tried to search for a thread with the answer but to no avail (I am a little lazy though..!).

Can anyone give me a ball-park figure for a two-yearly service (am sitting at about 11000 miles too) from a Dealer?

The bikes a 14 plate GSA LC and I keep it in good nick (strip and clean the breaks every 1500 miles or so, religiously coat everything in FS365 after decent washes/long runs etc.), so I'm aware of what 'condition' the bikes in and I don't anticipate any surprises.

My local dealer is Harry Fairbairn in Inverness and it's where the bike came from so I'll probably go back to them... depending on how much I am likely to be charged by them.

Cheers (in anticipation).

Why not give the dealer a call and you will know exactly what they want. As your at the end of the warranty period you could give a local bike shop a call as well and see what you can save. I imagine the further south you get the more it will cost so your options are a bit limited.

Cheers Marki,

I probably will, was thinking of taking a ride in tomorrow anyway, got to have a ganders at the new building, apparently it's massive and it makes the dealership a bit less 'car-only', which will be welcome.

Weather looks cr*p but as long as it's not a foot deep in snow...

Have been hearing good things about an independent dealership in Keith, he knows his way around BWMs apparently and is very reasonable so will take a run out that way too.

Ring the dealer tell them what service it is and they will give you a quote. Did just that this week and they quoted to the penny! ... Ouch.
