Dealers in the region

Anyway if it has lets have an update, not as if we are too busy out riding
Heard that Knotts in S on A closed on Monday so thats Trumpet/Suzuki/Honda gone in that area.
So who do you use in the area and whats left ?

We have Clarks @ Rednal, seem to be doing ok
J&S are on the move from the old Motorcycle City / Carnell unit in Digbeth, don't know where to
Triumph Birmingham - one of 3 branches owed by a car sales firm i think
Bikers World Daventry / Coshill / Pershore - got several other business's behind them
Alf England Bedworth, used a few times for servicing but never again few bad experiences lately.
Skellerns Worcester, not bad, been offered some decent deals
Kestrel Coventry, used for parts but not sure how strong finacially they are.
One i always forget and have only been in once Frettons Leamington, know nowt about them but think they are/were Suzuki ?
Don't stray much north of Brum myself, potter down to G White in Swindon every now and again, can't think of any other main dealers in Warwickshire in particular ?
Even more importantly i can't think of a main dealer i would take my bike to other than my local who has a good mechanic i trust.

If we're talking BMW there's Cotswold at Gloucester and Benham's at Wolverhampton. Of course NOG at Oxford.

There's a small outfit at Droitwich - C&J Motorcycles - good for general repairs, MOT's, etc. Streffords in Worcester. Dorrells in Stourport - do a lot of older bikes and classic scramblers, and Robin James Engineering in Leominster - again a specialist in old bike restoration.

That'll be Suttons. There is also Motorcyle Mart in Kiddie, Sherwoods in Birmingham, Sheldon Motorcycles, Arden Motorcycles in Alcester (ironically set up by two ex-Knotts employees and doing ok), Stealth Motorcycles in Redditch and Genesis in Bromsgrove - both small doing mainly servicing and repairs.

Think so. Someone told me this week that they were in Triumph's top 5 most successful UK dealers so I'm a bit surprised.

I guess there's a chance they might dump their debts and reappear as Knotts (2011) Ltd!

These are such tough times for motorcycle retailers. What has happened to Knotts is symptomatic of what's happening to the industry.

Just had a email from Triumph about the Tiger launch and still listing Knotts as a dealer,but i guess the website may be out of touch.

Forgot the new Honda dealer in Bromsgrove
Some good ones there Mike plenty I was not aware of.
As to BMW I think we are pretty well catered for south of Brum, is the Stroud outfit still there ?
