Just got a new Zega top-box for the iron horse. Apart from the fact that there aren't any holes in the box to affix it to the mounting plate, there's no lock on the thing just some mickey mouse effort that anyone with a screwdriver could open, and that its got a bloody great dent in it and has had to be returned anyway, it really gets on my tit that they can't be bothered to supply an English translation for the mounting instructions.

Has anyone got the address of the translation site so I can have a lovely evening typing in the Kraut instructions?

Lycos n Google do translation although the software is`nt brilliant. I got a letter from a French bloke once addressed to Mr Entrance!!!

When Star's report was posted on the net on Bill Clintons impeachment, Wanadoo translated all 900 pages in 1 hour and published it with a lot of trumpets here in France.

It started by saying "bla bla bla Bil Clinton bla bla bla". And they translated it into "We will send the Invoice to Mr. Clinton"...

Hmmmm. Clicking on the Touratech USA 'parts search' page reveals ... nothing at all. Mike, believe it or not I do not possess a scanner. The missus will take the instructions to work tomorrow and do the needful. I'll email you the file once I have it. Thanks for your help.

And thanks to everyone else, too. Top club, this.

I trust that Uncle Albert's top box is suitably adorned with blue sticky backed plastic?????

The development of the blue and white beast progresses!!

There is now more vinyl on that carnival float than my dear old Nan had in her old prefab!! :D

you better explain " prefab " to the younger viewers, i was in a friends prefab back in the late 60's,( corner of uverdale road and meek street, chelsea, ) and a zepher car came through the wall into his mum&dads bedroom, the council came around and nailed a piece of ply over the hole, it stayed like that for about 6 months; just think of compensation they could get now for all that trauma
