Dec 12th rideout anyone?

Not sure why but it seems to be yonks since we had a wombat run or similar. In fact the mid summer jaunt that Jarv did was the last run around here I reckon?

So, who fancies getting together for a run out in the lanes around Hindhead / Farnham / Alton.

Meet - 0845 for 0900 departure at the Punchbowl cafe, just north of junction of A3 & A287.

Route has a mix of mud / chalk / sand and you will need knobblies given the oggin we've had come out of the sky lately!

Plan to finish before dark and stop for bite on the trail somewhere so bring some mince pies if you need to.

I'll be on the XC, it is doable on a GS probably if your name is HORSE!?

If you want to trailer your bike there is parking available but you might have to pay cos its owned by National Trust......not sure how much it costs.

Volunteers required for tail gunner please?

I don't think I have actually rode the XC since the Jarv navigation run (which we won!!!!) so I could do with a play in the mud!!!

If you go there then i will guide you to a free carpark where all the mountainbikers leave their vans/cars, then bring you back to the meet point.

Yep 5 of us left the car park & 5 came back with no lasting damage to bikes or bodies. I'll let the guys from Dorset comment on whether it was any good or not but I reckon everyone had a great time.
