Any of you folks know where I can get hold of replacement decals for a '04 GSA? I've got the silver bike and am not too keen on the red decals. Fancy some blue ones like on a pic I saw on here - although I can't bloody find it again now can I!

Any ideas?

Lacquer?

ummm - aren't the decals underneath the lacquer? i'm sure they were on my first (blue and white) GS....

Lacquer?

On a silver Adventure?

Didn't you know they're painted with emulsion:confused:

no lacquer on silver ones as its primer! they are rejects not good enuff to be painted black:D :D :D :D :D :D

"aren't the decals underneath the lacquer?"

Prone has a point here. I can understand that the White Aluminium Adventures are not lacquered, but the Black ones are. My question is how would you change the decals on a laquered bike?

This the one you were thinking of????

:D

I was in Rainbow the other day, and they had the liner bags for the GSA ali luggage in grey/blue - perfect to match this bike! I must admit if it was an option, I would pefer it to the grey/red.

Regards,

Charles

That's the one...........ok folks you have me pondering now how do I change the decals if they are under the lacquer. I sense this may be a change I live to regret and I haven't even made it yet!!

Decals....

The decals on tanks are always lacquered on bikes, it's to stop them being rubbed off by clothing/tank bags etc etc. The only way to change them is to basically rip them off through the lacquer, stick the new ones on then get the tank re-lacquered.

I'll be happy to do that for you, and will only charge you £75 plus the cost of the decals, but you better be sure you like them first otherwise...........
