Oh man, it doesn't get much better than that 😊

Cheers Robbi - weather could have been a bit better tho - never stopped raining all day - had a poncho in the rucksac so threw up a basic shelter

Helped to keep the rain at bay.

That looks like a nice little stove.

I’ve got a Kelly kettle for twig burning but the amount of soot you get left with is a major source of frustration with it. What I really want is a small stove that I can run on wood pellets in the same way that my pizza oven does but I’ve yet to find one.

Guessing wood pellets would work dead on with this. I pre load it with a firelighter & some good lighting sticks before I head out. Comes in it's own carry bag, can then feed it with dead branches once its burning nicely - can't remember the price now but very reasonable from memory - can never go into Decathlon without leaving with a purchase lol

I like Decathlon but fortunately for my pocket we don’t have one nearby.

I could probably buy then modify any wood burner by putting something in the firebox to stop the pellets spilling out then make something to feed pellets in if I put my mind to it :D

@ AndyB. Look no more!
Wood gasification stove.
Stove and pot Titan 1800 combo (not the light one)
Linky
( does not come with tripod)

@ Flintlock- nice pike but that's got to be the worse tarp 'throw over' I've ever seen! 🤣 sheesh!

( yes I know, I'll get my coat...!)

Which Firebox do you have Andy? The G2 Firebox Stove you can insert the ash tray upside down on a couple of fire sticks to stop the pellets from coming out.

Being of a rather impetuous nature I’ve ordered a very expensive wood burning camping stove. I might have to cut a piece of perforated plate to stop pellets dropping through and it might be an abject fail but we’ll see.

Now one thing I do know is that pellets burn from the top down but there must be a way I can top it up without snuffing it out if it starts to run low.

Ordered! :D :thumb
Like I really needed one but what the hell.

Which one? The £14 ones look as if they’re what I’d describe as cheap and cheerful but it’s worth a look.
Yep, the £14 one. Can’t not give it a try at that price. :thumb
