decent horn with a barp not a beep

the horns on me 93 PD are a bad bad joke and wouldn't scare a baby

i owned a 1987 R100RS and it had real horns on it that used to scare little old ladies

can ya suggest any decent horns with a decent barp that will fit me bike

i want the decent fog horn type barp, not the beep ya to embrassed to beep the button

I think those K bike ones and some other were grunty

suggestions please

just what the doctor ordered.

now what we also need is a list of places where the road don't drain very well near old peoples homes (hey robbo any around your place) with surface flooding.

so ya get a big shower come thru and ya can wait for granny to be walking along, ride thru the flooding and ya can give her the big bow wave soaking

If you want horns that will sound as loud but at less than a quarter of the cost, try buying a pair of Fiamm horns from your local car accessories dealer (over here I bought mine in Halfords). I've had mine mounted on my GS Adv for over a year in all weathers without a problem.

I have used the Eddie's Atomic Horn Kit for a month now and I have to say it is one of the best modifications I have made so far and it is worth every penny. I think it even saved my skin a couple of times already, nobody, even 'white vans' have ignored it so far..
It was extremely easy to install too , it is almost plug and play. In fact I made it plug and play, by fitting the original BMW horn kit, female connector to it. I can post a picture if anybody wants it. Maybe Eddie can consider, adding this to the kit himself.

I actually had them lying around in the garage (I was going to fit them on my Pan, but couldn't find space). Halfords still do them over here, I believe they're around the £20 mark for the kit, but someone may have a more exact price. Just asking for Fiamms should work...
