I ride all year around and don't wear the protective gear I should. At the moment I wear rigger boots with £8 water proof trousers!! They are easy to slip on and when i get to work which is only 5 miles away I find them easy to slip off and then wear normal shoes with trousers and shirt.

I want a suit that will go over trousers and shirt with armour etc. Also planning a trip tp Europe later this year and would be nice if suit could be used there.

Something like an Aerostich sounds like it would be ideal...apart from the price.

Olympia Phantom or the Aerostich Roadcrafter are made to go over day to day clothing and designed to be easily removed when you finish your journey.

Both made in the USA and not sold in Europe but can be sent over or found used.

Of the two I prefer the Roadcrafter but nowt wrong with the Phantom. :thumb

Have a look at the BMW Coverall.

Great concept but poorly made in Vietnam. I have had two free replacements and the last (current) seems to keep me dry although the supposedly waterproof outside pockets aren't:blast

The good thing about BMW products is that they will replace them without question if you have problems.

Laminated waterproof material (not Goretex) with shoulder, elbow, hip and knee protectors as well as an optional back protector. The pocket for it is in the standard suit so I just dropped in a HG BP.

No armour though....
