The paintwork is looking great Martin.

I guess you used Mark in Derby again?

No used another painting company this time.

Who is 'Mark in Derby'? Please.

Mark Cordwell (I have his number and he can be found via web search).

Mark painted my G/S after Martin put me on to him. He also does the paintwork for a well known BMW restorer based near Derby and is well liked by the Yam LC club. :thumb2

Must be good if Gary uses him. I like the look of whoever has done this metallic red too!

Work continues, tank test fitted with seat today. The colour is really nice. Glad I went with the red and not the grey.

Same colour as the one I had back in 1984, bought from Browns in Ashford, Kent.

The paintwork on that tank looks gorgous.

Looks great Martin. :thumby:

Looking forward to seeing it.

Mike too right. I’ll need to source an alternative side stand. No way would she ride it with the standard side stand in place. Too unwieldy for her to use safely. Paintwork would be in jeopardy.

All done apart from the front headlamp cowl. Need to try and source a lower bracket.
