default video player

For some reason my default video player on the PC has changed from MS mediaplayer to Apple quick time. I think the MS product is better . Can anyone tell me how to change it back

right click on one of the files you want to play>Open With>Choose Program>select Windows Media Player & tick box "always use the selected program...." & OK it.

Quick Time grabbed the file associations when you installed it.

it's pretty good, but not pretty. as MM says, plays anything without added codecs though

Its done it again when I downloaded my new mobile phone software but this time it doen't seem to want to change back for all files.......arrgghhhhh!!!!!!!

Any advice?

I use it if i get a tricky file that won't play ball... but it looks crap


Zoom player for me so many options with it...and it plays virtually everything with good colour adjustments for when you get those dark copied movies
