Delays loading UKGSer pages...

I seem to get delays of approx 5-8 seconds when loading pages from tyhis site. The top 2 banners come up straight away and then I have to wait for all the posts!!!!! Is this the same fopr everyone or is it my PC carryng out some anti virus type checks

Any tips appreciated as its very infuriating as I am on this site more than any other

I've been getting the same for a while, but not since reading this post, bizarrely.

Go to User CP.. edit options.... Thread display options...

Then uncheck show signatures... see if that speeds things up

Don't bother with signatures and avtars, but still this site, and ebay, seem to be dog slow on some days.

Well at least its not my pc as when they start to fade its rapid down hill in my experience... I'll monitor things
