3rd July 2016
Jorge and Jen set off early for Eugene, where Jorge is working hard at the US Olympic Trials. I am left dog-sitting with Daisy and Zoe.
I start the task of laundering all the gear I have been wearing for the last two weeks - it takes most of the day. Interspersed with this activity I take the Adv out for a couple of local rides - the first to do some minor shopping...
...where I see this parked. I'm not going to ask the question, as no-one would guess.
The front and rear are from a 1937 Ford; the centre section is a 1960's VW Beetle...
Later in the afternoon, I drop over to see my mate Greg (Deacon on ADVrider) - amongst other things to have another look at the flooring of his garage, which I intend to fit in mine when complete...
We get talking about various things - and the subject of guns comes up...
His & hers .22s - his with a silencer...
...and the ubiquitous AR15 (apologies for the quality of pics - I only had my phone).
I leave loaded with both smoked and fresh wild salmon (Greg has had a good fishing season
) and ride home to feed the hounds.
A pizza and a Game of Thrones marathon on TV complete the day...
