Currently planning a trip using City Navigator 2024.1

I'm partly using some routes I've taken already years ago, so I'm on the safe side, but I was wondering if it is possible to overlay a DEM map on the City Navigator... in Basecamp.
Essentially, I want to see elevation.

I remember using OSM map with 3D detail and elevation in the area when I planned the previous trip (2019) because we did some light offroad and I wanted to be sure of any climbs, etc. But it was a separate map.
This was it:

I don't really need a 3D map now, I just want to have shading/contour lines, anything to indicate a rough idea of elevation on top of the CIty Navigator.
Any way to achieve this?

Thanks

Not a perfect answer but a crude workaround would be to display the route in MyRoute and select HERE ‘Terrain’

Thanks Richard.
I have quite a few items (lots of waypoints, track and routes) and I prefer to keep everything in Basecamp for now. I really do not like MRA (used it again recently) and will have to wait for some new cloud-based navi planning product to come out I guess.

I restored those maps I mentioned above and I can switch to those to check DEM.
I do believe I can get DEM detail as an overlay on City Navigator maps if I connect the Zumo to the computer (you would normally see altimetric shading on the device). I'll try later.

To confirm: yes there is DEM data in the XT, but it cannot be overlaid over the City Navigator maps for some reason. I'll keep switching between City and that Spain-specific map shown above.

You could use the Topo active map which will give you contour lines?Topo.jpg

Just had a thought. You can also animate your routes in 3d on Google earth pro. Instructional video here.
