Just taken my gs/a in for the dealer to have a go at fixing my fuel gauge when i spotted there S1000RR demonstrator...long and short of it was i took it out for a couple of hours...jesus christ sports bikes have come on a bit since i last rode one! i now understand why so many get thrown at the scenery by born again's and newbies , it was incredibly easy to go at ballistic speeds......the sales guy told me i wasn't to turn the traction control and abs off as it would invalidate my insurance.....big mistake/just had to turn it off then didn't i? forbidden fruit and all that, fekkin terifying then + set the engine management to race mode.....jeez its not for me but what a machine!

Would love to have a go on this. Miss my sportsbike, but just getting too uncomfortable. Tried to wangle one as a loan bike while mine's going in for it's service but it's already booked for a demo

Apparantly I'm going to end up with an ancient 1150R or something

I did a track day on an S1000RR..... I miss that bike....lots.
