Denali D4s installation help. GS

I have searched to try and find the info on here I require but not had any success.

I have a pair of used Denali D4s which I have sourced with all the wire harnesses etc
If I connect to the battery terminal and use the switch supplied or to a live feed ie my lights to come one with my high beam does it cause a problem with the Canbus or would I have to cut the harness supplied and just connect to my Hezcan I have fitted already ?

If you are fitting it on a GS with the wonderwheel, better to connect to Hex Ezcan, that way you can control them from the wheel, and turn signal switch.

Thanks for the link and thought it would be better to go that way but just asked before I stated cutting the harness.
