Hi All,
I have a Denali compact horn, my question for you lovely guys and dolls is, am I able to replace the original horn with the Denali as a straight swap or is there more to it, ie, a relay or connection to the battery? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Lots if things to be aware of -

The compact will not fit a lowered GS / GSA you need a split

If you have a Hexezcan or cansmart, i believe you run a cable from the oe horn to the smartbomb and then straight back to the cansmart - it does all for you

No cansmart, you need a feed to the Denali from the battery & relay etc ...

do a search on Denali's website they have fitting instructions on there

its not just plug and play :(

You get a connector that plug into the wires of the OEM connector to the Denali. then it replaces your OEM horn, i.e. you remove the OEM horn. Something like this -
https://motorcyclepartswarehouse.co.uk/denali-soundbomb-mini-wiring-adaptor-for-bmw-s-with-cambus-system.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwkZiFBhD9ARIsAGxFX8D71kVW76vjMRESymQDg42mnzFP0ynk5U6AL8QJB-0XsV9DxACM_S8aAl6oEALw_wcB

I have a spare one for a R1200GS LC. Not sure if it will fit GS 1250. You will also need a bracket to fit the Denali as it will not fit in the original OEM horn spot.

Or go the Cansmart or Hexezcan route and you can have both horns and add a few other things also.
