leaving at 11.... should be at the G&D by 2.30, if i,m not send a search party to the gated road... ill be in the ditch at the first gate outside Dent as usual.
All you people heading up, I would avoid the Kingsdale road or now known as Bike in a ditch road.
Go past Ingleton towards Kirkby Lonsdale and Devils Bridge and take the very nice Barbon Fell road.
Turn right at the end and you are less than 1/4mile from the campsite.
Thats good local advice that is.

I'd asked for two tent spaces, but my planned ride buddy has set fire to his airhead (not deliberately he says) so down to one tent only, for Saturday night. Sorry!.

Thought I might have to cancel as I have lost my lucky gonk and couldnt get the 2 dead flies off my headlamp, and worst of all one of my mirrors is dirty.
But in the true Dunkirk spirit I have dug deep and will be there come hell or blown bulbs.
ps Bringing pieces of meat and Guiness.
Also bringing a bottle of Glen Morangie? anyone passing with a glass is more than welcome to a tipple.

For fuck sake,,,,,pardon my French,,,,,,the camper would not start last night, the Machanic is coming today at some point, I've asked the misses to sort the tent out,,,,,,I got no tea last night and been told,,,,,,,I'm not camping,,,,,,,,so unless it can be fix today I'm sorry not be coming, I've looked forward to this for flipen ages as well,,,,
