Great minds ..... :beerjug:

Fuck me Micky......You did well to get up there on yer new knees :bow:bow
The wife and I did that hike in May and we were bolloxed when we got to that bench.

Bloody good on yer man:beerjug::beerjug:

Did you come back down from there Dave?
I turned left just after the gate, couple of miles of deep rutted track, then left back down in to Dentdale and a couple of miles along the road back in to Dent. The walk back down was brutal, footprint sized loose rocks and boulders, wet'n slippy :blast

So just took my time :D

Knees no probs (just twelve weeks today since fitted) ... the five pints of Dent 'Aviator' in the George and Dragon, and the pint of Kirbylonsdale 'Monumental' and whiskey chaser in The Sun Inn were something else :blast

:beerjug:

Stayed here a few times wonderful part of the country.
Hopefully be able to join you if my backs upto camping again so please put me down as a hopeful
:beerjug: RR

I live around an hours ride from Dent …i can't stop the Saturday night ,but would love to come and meet you guys and go on one of your "organised ride outs" i know the area well so won't even get lost ! looking forward to it already

Will be good to see you Dave ... but please note that the only thing 'organised' about this event is the 'disorganisation' :D

Could start one of the longest 'how many sleeps' threads.....circa 180 to go!!!!! :pullface

Bring it on Keith ... bring it on :thumby:

:beerjug:

Micky watching country file at this very moment , Our route up will be swift but we shall have to ride through the Trough of Bowland on our way home.
The whole programme devoted to that area tonight . A weekend of riding in good Company, plenty of chat:beerjug: See , plotting and planning this early.
If you and JB need any help with anything, Julie and I happy to oblige. :thumby:

Actually, the Trough of Bowland is a beautiful neck o' the woods in its own right, notwithstanding that its Red Rose territory, and not too far from Dent :D

I think one of the rides out will be going that way ...

Many thanks for the offer Andrew, will let you know for sure ... ta

:beerjug:
