Dent Guzzi meet (but open too all) 23rd-24th May 2025.

Not too far away now, I am really looking forward to this.

Just to be clear, although it does attract Guzzis, it’s for everyone. Last year there was a good mix of Guzzi riders , and yet-to-become Guzzi riders. :D
 
I’m really miffed that I can’t make this, as I’m away in that there Europe.

My plans have changed a bit too. I’m still hoping to be there but I’ll be on foot…all being well…after walking The Coast to Coast trail.

I think that I may arrive on Friday after getting the train from Scarborough to Dent.
I’ll be camping….unless the walk breaks me and I retreat back to the safety of the South East….but then I could get the Guzzi out!!??!!??

I know that it makes sense. I’ll see how the walk goes and if I get to the end in time to go home and then ride back up….

The walk took me 14 days last time and I’m starting on the 9th of May.
Of course, if I don’t finish the walk I’ll have more time to get south and north again.
Time will tell.

Just for information. The road from Newby Head down into Dentdale is closed just below the viaduct. The road has collapsed a bit. I had a ride up there last week just to check it out as it’s a road we use as medics for the Fellsman. This could affect those riding via Settle, Ribblehead, Ingleton and possibly Hawes. It’s a bit of a trek round via the coal road from Garsdale but a great ride.
 
Sorry Steve we’re out. Got an issue with the bike and a fixture clash.

That's a shame Tony, I was looking forward to seeing that outfit and you and Fran of course.
 
So who is definitely going? I know there's me, Steve (wrinkleyowl), Stu (Brut33)

I was thinking of booking a table for Saturday evening at the George and Dragon for around 7pm for a group of us to dine. We did it last year it was like a chimps tea party:D. I know some who camp prefer to self cater, but if folk can post up if they want to dine I'll try to sort it. I dont want to leave it to last minute.
 
I’m booked in at the George and Dragon Friday and Saturday nights the only meal booking I could get for both nights was 1930.
Would be great to have some company

I will not be making it. I finish too late on Friday to get there early enough etc on Friday. And then all that way just for sat and to rush off on Sunday is bit much. Enjoy it all
