The Dent Weekend is on. Midsummer next year. 31st May - 2nd June


Motorhomes, caravans, camping...
Toilets, showers, plug-ins for MH's/caravans.

Camping at High Laning (015396 25239):camping


Accommodation and draught beer are within staggering distance of the campsite and anywhere else in Dent.:beer:

The Sun Inn (015396 25208)
The George and Dragon (015396 25256)

Dent Stores B&B (015396 25209)

If enough interest there'll be a raffle. Good weather has also been booked.:Motomartin

If so, there can be a competition to guess what Guzzi Wrinkleyowlie will be on. :D

The Dent 'Guzzi' do was all said rather tongue in cheek. I was going to see in the new year how many might be up for it. For me it was just a way of resurrecting a Dent meet and seeing a few Guzzi's. I'm definately up for your W/E. Why not put out a special invite to Guzzi owners ? Could have a competition to see how many Guzzi's turn up. I say 8. Put me down as a definite. Looking forward already.
I'm off to Dent 4th & 5th Oct staying at the general stores. Mate of mine wants to do the 21 dales run.

He will be on a new one , running it i for its first service, whereby he will fit additional bling. Do I win a prize ……….?

Good one Steve, I'm of the same mind about resurrecting the Dent weekend.
I just thought I'd throw a projected date up for 2024 incase anyone fancied it. Your idea of a Guzzi weekend is great
and something I'd attend. However, you seem happy with this chosen date so it could be a Guzzi event with a special
invite to GS owners,:D (plus anything else on two wheels).:thumb2
I'll put an attendees list up in the new year. My guess for Guzzi's turning up is 6, GS's 5, others 2.

Thanks Micky, it really is no trouble. I'm not much good at difficult stuff. :D

Just thought I'd put a date up to see if there's any interest and keep the event going.
As it's only a mornings ride I'll be turning up anyway to sample the beer in the two pubs
of downtown Dent. I'm even intending going on a ride out to Tan Hill.
Myself and my carer FatAl of this parish are already booked into the Sun Inn.

Count me in I’ve missed this event for the last few years ….not camped with the bike since the last Dent event I attended. I do have a ticket for the ABR in 2024 , never been so looking forward to that to.
