Dent Weekend 31st May - 2nd June, 2024

Great weather for you guys 😎. Sorry I cant join you , but its also nice in North Wales at my cousins re union. Enjoy Sunday and safe ride home everyone.

A big thank you from me, to those guys who conceived this idea.

What an utterly beautiful place that is. A good camp site, an easy walk from the pubs... what's not to like.

As usual it was a very great pleasure to meet fellow Dent-ists and get to know everyone. Boatman, thank you for bringing the Scottish midges! :D

I've just got home from Dent, I've left Stu there nursing what seems to be the remnants of a hangover. It was a Fab weekend with great company, and as usual getting to meet fellow Tossers to whom I can now put a face to their name. It's a pity Paul (the other PaulG) could only have a short stay over on Friday night, and also Phil (Dales lad) who joined us for pre dinner drinks on Saturday evening. Many thanks to Austin for leading our ride on Saturday.
The list of attendees as I remember:

Yep, thanks to all for a good weekend.
I made it back in one piece with not too much filtering…which was nice.

Hopefully after the weekend not all of you have put me on your ignore lists and at least one of you will be able to read this. 😳
 
Great W/E and a big thanks to AustinW for a great ride out yesterday.Great company all-round. I bailed a day early and came home today. I am absolutely knackered, having spent last week in Bala in Wales riding with a mate, then straight upto Dent on Friday. Apparently I'm changing my forum name to 'Shakey Steve'.

Enjoyed everything about it . The place, the riding, the weather, the company, the craic and the beer.
The weather gods certainly shone down on us and even Margaret cracked a smile. However, I'm not sure if it was a smile or wind.:D

A great time indeed, although the rash on my rash on face and neck is evidence them evening midges were the biting sort not just the irritating sort.

A privilege to lead a ride out into my back yard and along some of my favourite biking roads as well as a pleasure to meet some great blokes. Thanks to all and especially so for the sympathy with my Saturday morning hangover.

I must admit I was half expecting you to turn up on that mint Honda C90. We were looking forward to having a few beers with you, hopefully next time:beerjug:
