I so wish I could have come - but my recent surgery wouldn't let me.

Dunno, but given the demographic it could well be a midweek thing as most of us are retired and the campsite will be nice and quiet.
Also a move away from the same date the Appleby Caravan Club bash could be advantageous.
A Wednesday-Thursday event might work, as I think both pubs are shut on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Or how about a Wednesday to Sunday allowing people to come and go as suits their schedule/life/work patterns.
Come and stay a night or two or the whole week. Maybe that could make it more accessible to more of the Guzzi owners on here
