By Prestige in Bexleyheath...still no details released yet but you can put your money down if you feel inclined to be at the head of the queue... Simon Cope is the man to call...020 8383 3030...and no I haven't reserved one yet... :D

So what you're saying is, it's now possible for part with your hard-earned cash money for a bike which virtually no one has ever seen, which doesn't officially exist, and has no official release date, for an uncertain length of time?

Sounds tempting...

And be a BMW development rider, much in the same way as those that bought the first GS12's with their inherent problems...................

Andres - Two people have put deposits down at Prestige and they only started taking them because a regular customer of theirs took his deposit to Cannons because they weren't doing so...so they thought they might as well...

I'm amazed that anyone will do this at this stage...no details whatsoever have been released so far...yes I want one, but then again I don't want to buy a bike without seeing it and I'm uncertain as to whether I want one of the first batch of bikes - after the problems BMW had with the R1200GS and the K1200S...

I thought it would be interesting to see what reaction this thread would get...

Agree with you on all points, equally amazed too.

Quite a few peeps did the same with the HP2 but, I guess that was slightly different given it's limited availability and the leaking of it's spec. and piccies quite a bit before it's launch.

Oh to have the sort of expendible income to not have to think twice about doing such a thing

slm were taking deposits a couple of months back
quite a few dealers have been for a while - Prestige were refusing on the grounds that nothing was known...they're bowing to pressure from customers...

I think you will find they have some details on the bike, I cetainly know that the USA which seems 3 months behind on Europe have enough info to take orders

12GS Adv

I think I could be interested in this bike but I would definitely want to see one and more importantly ride one before I put money on it. :eek
