Whatever you do , do not go on the Patsy Quick Morocco Tour.

Patsy is really horrible and shouts at you to make you do things you would never believe you could do.

Before you go you hate sand and when you come back you feel lost without it.

Theres no tele so there nothing much to look at at

You spill most of your beer at night because you are laughing so much about the events of the day.

Desert Rose Morocco Tour Warning !!

Green laning will never be the same again....

There's no walkers to tell you how to behave properly.....

Your riding improves so much that you will just want more...

Then to cap it all at the end they take the bikes away and make you go home.

Al, I've got hundreds of photos of you, most of them buried up to your armpits in sand. I'll send them all once i've sorted them out. Maybe you could post my Nasa attempt.

sand parking technique

if you find the car parks and you have a handy tip truck full of sand and/or your kickstand is not functional or infact you are trying to outdo topgear with the robin rocket then this may be askill worth aquiring.
the katey 690 is an awesome sandcrutchrocket but getting over the initial gravitational pull seemed troublesome.

The woman is a goddess!...:):)

All I can remember about riding in sand dunes is falling into them on the back of Fanums C90.........:eek

Mind, we were slightly squiffy at the time........:blast

She is an evil woman - she keeps emptying my bank account. :)

I am so Jealous, it looks great - I was so close to booking for this March but couldn't quite budget for it. - perhaps in the autumn... :augie

Dropped Desert Rose an email asking about off road courses, never got a reply :nenau

The last couple of times I've had emails from someone signing off as Eloise, so I think they have addressed their slow email response.

If I could divert my monthly pay check to Patsy in return for riding dunes like that, I would.

I think Pasty and Zippy are pretty busy out riding, or supporting most of the time. The best way is to go to their website and just book a course online, whatever takes your fancy, pay your money and they will be in touch.

This is the third time I've been with them on various courses and they are always the same. You don't here from Patsy until about a week before the course. She has always been reliable and sends phone numbers for you to contact them if necessary.

I have done the Portuguese off road with Mr ("we're not worthy") Pavey and for me there is nothing to choose between them. Both organisations are bloody proffessional and a pleasure to take part in either.

+1 and a genuinely really nice person with it!

I've been lucky enough to go on one of her 1st 690 tryout days and have now bought one off of her - mint and a bargin :D

Getting hold of them can be tricky, but I've found there's normally someone on the phones first thing in the morning and when you do manage to get hold of someone they are always top notch!

One of the things that really impresses me is how well they know these machines - I'd been trying to get a simple answer about the 690s our of dealers for ages, 5 min conversation with Patsy and not only did I have a bike I also had all the info I needed on setting it up etc!

I'll have to get my act together and join one of these trips one day :)
