Desierto 3 fit

Hi can anyone tell me if it is possible to fit a 2008/2012 Desierto 3 screen to a 2005 r1200gs without to much hassle ?

I have had 54, 06, 09 and 11 plate GS bikes and not aware of any changes to screenmounts. The 54 was a GS and others were GSA's. So you should be fine.

I have one on my '05 GS. I'm sorry, I don't know if its a II or a III as I bought it 2nd hand.

It clips onto the front tank panel things though and as the later GSs are very different to ours I suspect that it won't work and will need some piddling around with to fit.

In fact, there was one for sale on here a year ago(ish) and I'm pretty sure it was an earlier model fairing that had been made to fit a later GS? Have a search in the Items for sale section and see if you can find it.

There is a subtle diference in the front screen mount from older and newer 1200s. But its no big deal, Ive used both because my original later style got bent and I bought the wrong one. It fitted no worries.
